Almhütte II - EP

Wound of Briccius Just like Almhütte I, this absolutely oozes "Alpine Synth". Wilder Mann (and Reifenstein as a whole) is who I would consider the pure, perfect pioneer of Alpine Synth, a subgenre that I think could sorely use more love and attention. These songs take you to high peaks, where you see the world move on, all while existing in a spiritual limbo. I cannot recommend enough. Please support this good artist. Favorite track: Almhütte VII.

about

The cover photo depicting an alpine hut (Almhütte in german) was taken by Wulf Von Reifenstein on August 2014 in a high valley of Valle d'Aosta under the Gran Paradiso Mountain.
A part of his soul has remained in that place and is represented in musical form in this EP.
